Accounts with similar sounding names created in short succession, possible sleeper accounts for vandal. No accounts by these names seem to have recent edits to any other project. Do they share a common IP? WjBscribe 23:32, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Likely that these users all originated in a related way. Same person or persons, same location. Using this tool http://www.toolserver.org/~luxo/contributions/contributions.php?user=LesmineLin&lang=en (and other names) I found that a user named Ayu had contribs on de:wp but the ID is not a SUL.

Note, I think maybe we should enhance {{checkuser}} to include luxo's tool and centralAuth? So I did. ++Lar: t/c 00:47, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

I would advocate, this being Meta, asking them if they have an explanation, and if it sounds reasonable to you, unblocking again. They may be school chums or whatever, the IP they were using is absolutely compatible with that... Your call. ++Lar: t/c 00:58, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

I can certainly leave a message, but the fact that there are no accounts by these names that have been recently active on any Wikimedia Projects makes an innocent explanation for a group of people suddenly needing 5 accounts on meta hard to fathom... WjBscribe 01:01, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
