Education

  • (PCTO) Outside the canon: Wikipedia for women (Nov 15, 2022 - May 30, 2023). School program - related to write in Wikipedia biographies of scientists and women in the theatre - created together with the National public theater "Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione" (ERT) in the high schools of three cities in Emilia Romagna (Bologna, Cesena and Modena). 27 new biographies: 8 biographies of female scientists in Modena, 9 in Bologna and 10 in Cesena about women in theatre. In 5 months - and more than 15 meetings in person and online - the project involved 55 students from the three Emilia-Romagna cities in learning the basics of collective writing in Wikipedia (how the encyclopedia works, pillars and guidelines, copyright and licenses free, ways of interacting with the community) and in the translation of articles from English. The work was subsequently presented on the stage of the Bonci theaters in Cesena and Storchi theaters in Modena, during the National Festival of School Theater for Children "Elisabetta Turroni".
